No astronomer would even suggest that the above (glaringly, blindingly obvious!) “OCTANT HUGGING” could be explained by Newtonian Physics. There is no way that Earth’s revolution can (by gravitation or “tidal friction”) “control” the rotation of very distant planets such as Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Professor Zdenek Kopal (in his book The Realm of The Terrestrial Planets, page 191) tells us “A tidal coupling between Venus and Earth is almost negligible.” Now Venus is our closest planet. How much more “negligible” is the tidal influence of Planet Earth as exerted upon Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto?
