EXAMPLE 7. THE OUTERMOST LARGE SATELLITES – THEIR MOVEMENTS SYNCHRONIZED WITH EARTH’S ROTATION.
In Example 4, above, we saw how The Outermost Large Satellites have their movements very precisely synchronized with THE EARTH YEAR. Now we will see how these Outermost Large Satellites also have their movements very precisely synchronized with THE EARTH DAY.
Here is a list of The OUTERMOST LARGE Satellites of The Solar System, together with their orbital periods (expressed in Earth days). Earth’s OUTERMOST LARGE Satellite is The Moon (27.32166) and Jupiter’s OUTERMOST LARGE Satellite is Callisto (16.6890184) and Saturn’s OUTERMOST LARGE Satellite is Iapetus (79.3301825) and Uranus’ OUTERMOST LARGE Satellite is Oberon (13.4632423) and Neptune’s OUTERMOST LARGE Satellite is Triton (5.8768441). Note:- Mercury and Venus have no satellites; and Mars has no LARGE satellites, and we will treat Pluto as a Trans-Neptunian Object, rather than as a planet for this example. The Earth Year (ie:- Earth’s orbital period) = 365.256 Earth days. Earth’s rotation period = 0.9972697 Earth days.
To verify the above numerical data, scroll down to the bottom of this page.
(A). During One Moon orbital period, Earth rotates (27.32166 ÷ 0.9972697) = 27.3965 rotations, ie:- 27 complete rotations plus a RESIDUAL ANGLE of (0.3965 x 360) = 142.7 degrees.
(B). During One Callisto orbital period, Earth rotates (16.6890184 ÷ 0.9972697) = 16.7347 rotations, ie:- 16 complete rotations plus a RESIDUAL ANGLE of (0.7347 x 360) = 264.5 degrees.
Iapetus “fails” the Octant Rule.
(C). During One Oberon orbital period, Earth rotates (13.4632423 ÷ 0.9972697) = 13.5001 rotations, ie:- 13 complete rotations plus a RESIDUAL ANGLE of (0.5001 x 360) = 180.0 degrees.
(D). During One Triton orbital period, Earth rotates (5.8768441 ÷ 0.9972697) = 5.8929 rotations, ie:- 5 complete rotations plus a RESIDUAL ANGLE of (0.8929 x 360) = 321.5 degrees.
We have four RESIDUAL ANGLES. These are:-
(A). 142.7 degrees.
(B). 264.5 degrees.
(C). 180.0 degrees.
(D). 321.5 degrees.
When you depict each of these four RESIDUAL ANGLES as a (single line) radius, the four radiuses look like this:-
The gravitational field of Earth is insufficiently strong to alter or affect the orbital periods of distant satellites. Once again, these residual angles all (mysteriously) “hug” the octants. “Something else” (other than Newtonian Physics) is influencing and dictating the movements of these satellites.
