THE INEXPLICABLE SOLAR SYSTEM.

Solar System Bodies move in a manner that is INEXPLICABLE in terms of any known laws of physics!

One of the (many!) INEXPLICABLE features of the movements of Solar System Bodies is “OCTANT HUGGING”.

The Laws of Newtonian Physics cannot explain why “OCTANT HUGGING” occurs, and yet “OCTANT HUGGING” is a general and consistent feature of The Solar System.

“OCTANT HUGGING” can be easily seen as soon as you look at ANGLES revolved or rotated during specified time periods.

This website (www.octantsrule.com) contains over 80 images displaying over 300 “OCTANT HUGGING” ANGLES (and more “in the pipeline”). With this profusion of examples, chance occurrence cannot possibly be the explanation.

I am currently offering a cash prize of £32,000 (sterling) to any academic astronomer who can explain why “OCTANT HUGGING” occurs, using only the accepted principles of Newtonian Physics, or who can show that “OCTANT HUGGING” is actually NOT a general and consistent feature of The Solar System. “OCTANT HUGGING” is very easy to understand. It requires no technical or mathematical knowledge – only a basic ability of VISUAL PATTERN RECOGNITION. You can see at a glance when “OCTANT HUGGING” is taking place.

QUESTION:- What is “OCTANT HUGGING”?

ANSWER:- To clarify this, it is easier to provide a visual demonstration.

The image below depicts (as radiuses of the circle) The EIGHT OCTANTS (“Octo” is Latin for Eight.), ie:- 0˚(360˚)    45˚   90˚   135˚    180˚    225˚      270˚   315˚

www.octantsrule.com

It turns out that ANGLES revolved or rotated during specified time periods (in The Solar System) tend to “HUG” THE OCTANTS, ie:- to be very close to THE OCTANTS. This is a general and consistent feature throughout The Solar System; and Newtonian Physics cannot explain why it happens!

I will pay £500 to anyone who can show that any single one of the angles on this web site are incorrectly drawn or incorrectly calculated!

EXAMPLE ONE. The following image depicts the ANGLES revolved by Planet Earth during the orbital period of each of the other eight planets. Each ANGLE is displayed as SINGLE LINE RADIUS of the circle.

You would have to be blind to not notice that all the ANGLES are very close to THE OCTANTS.

The next image depicts (an impression of) how these angles (in EXAMPLE 1. above) OUGHT to look if Newtonian Physics ALONE governed the movements of Solar System Bodies. (These ANGLES SHOULD be randomly distributed, without any obvious pattern!)

EXAMPLE 2. This image depicts the ANGLES rotated by The Moon and The Planets during One Earth Year.

Each ANGLE is displayed as SINGLE LINE RADIUS of the circle.

No astronomer would even suggest that the above (glaringly, blindingly obvious!) “OCTANT HUGGING” could be explained by Newtonian Physics. There is no way that Earth’s revolution can (by gravitation or “tidal friction”) “control” the rotation of very distant planets such as Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Professor Zdenek Kopal (in his book The Realm of The Terrestrial Planets, page 191) tells us “A tidal coupling between Venus and Earth is almost negligible.” Now Venus is our closest planet. How much more “negligible” is the tidal influence of Planet Earth as exerted upon Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto?
